Who we are

Peace Love Family Therapy, PLLC is a private practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger emotional connections and navigate life’s transitions with greater clarity and compassion.

Our work is rooted in the belief that healing happens through understanding, connection, and intentional growth. Whether you are adjusting to the changes of parenthood, marriage, navigating challenges in your relationship, or seeking a healthier path for your family, therapy can provide a space to slow down, reflect, and move forward with purpose.

At Peace Love Family Therapy, we integrate evidence-based approaches with a compassionate and culturally responsive lens to support clients in creating meaningful and lasting change.

Our goal is to help you cultivate peace within yourself, love within your relationships, and strength within your family.

Meet the Team

  • I’m Stephany John, therapist and founder of Peace Love Family Therapy, PLLC. I work with individuals, couples, and mothers who want to build deeper emotional connections, navigate life transitions with clarity, and create healthier foundations for themselves and their families.

Many of the clients I support are moving through meaningful life seasons—entering parenthood, marriage, strengthening their relationships, or trying to break patterns that no longer serve their family system. While these transitions can be beautiful, they can also bring uncertainty, stress, and emotional distance. Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and begin moving forward with intention.

My work is rooted in a relationship-centered approach, drawing from evidence-based models including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Bowen Family Systems Theory, and Gottman-informed couples therapy. These frameworks help clients better understand the patterns shaping their emotions, communication, and relationships while developing new ways of responding with awareness and compassion.

Clients often describe our work together as both reflective and practical—a space where they feel heard while also gaining tools to create meaningful change in their daily lives.

At the heart of my practice is a belief that healing happens in the context of safe and supportive relationships. My goal is to provide a thoughtful and grounded therapeutic space where clients can deepen self-understanding, strengthen emotional connection, and cultivate greater peace within themselves and their families.

“Stephany is honest and really helpful. Im still early in my process but already I appreciate and look forward to our meetings. Me and my husband are starting to actually look at one another now without as much resentment. Wish we didn't wait so long.”
